I've redone my gallery. as suggested,. and being new to all this have lost all the comments-(pressed the wrong button ) so I'm starting from scratch. Thanks to all who did comment.

Thank you Carole......

Vivien, I absolutely love this painting - it's so full of life. You have brilliant drawing as well as painting skills. Any tips on developing a looser style of drawing? I think your work is lovely - so imaginative.

Thank you very much Jacki-your posive comments are very much appreciated. I think the looseness has developed over time.. as I have said in my interview I painted very intricate botanical works , from life, when I started and as I was asked to do larger works I experimented with different media and techniques and really enjoyed what was happening. I think it important to be able to draw accurately and careful observation of the subject is a must- otherwise the finished work doesn't gell.Even in semi abstract works the forms I paint are accurate. I suggest you think bigger and work freely , the looseness will develop in time. If you want to just draw loosly, again try working on a large scale with charcole and chalks.
