Thanks Stephen... again the client wanted something floral, but 'different'.. plenty of scope and great to do. This client also commisioned 'Jet Set'.

Just had a good look at your gallery! This one is lovely. This is what I mean about you trying different techniques. Paint, ink, collage all on one piece and it looks terrific. I have never forgotten seeing one of your flower watercolours hanging on your hall wall. I didn't paint much then but I remember being extremely impressed and telling the family later about this wonderful painting I'd seen! Now I have time to paint and it's taken over my life! I have a few pieces in Colin Jellicoes but unfortunately Blyth closed and Mooch didn't want my work. Not cutting edge enough I suppose! There are very few galleries in Manchester as you probably know. Isn't this site good? I love seeing all the different works. Nice to hear from you. Louise

Hello again Louise.....I'm appalled that Mooch said No..having been to several of their exhibitions I just can't see why.It is under new management- he's also bought Blythes, but I don't thnk his exhibitions at Mooch are as sucessfull as they were- they're showing a very mixed bag!!And the present one has higher prices... good though- there were several I colud have lived with, but very little room in my new small house!! Have you tried Wendy Levy's in Didsbury.. worth looking into. Thanks again for your comments.... perhaps we should get together. Vivien.
