Beautiful, very well done..

Thanks again for the above comment.. as said before- the Aqua gesso board does throw up some different watercolour results.

This one is lovely too Vivien. Just read your other comment. It would be nice to see you again perhaps when the weather picks up? Louise

Lovely vignette - subtle colours and beautifully drawn.

Thanks Thea...always good to read constructive comments.

What a lovely little painting. You have used the watercolour so delicately and the figures are drawn beautifully. (I can't do delicate so always in awe of those who can!!) Jx

Thank you Jean..... it was difficult to do 'delicate' as you put it on the gesso- even though it is for watercolour, but I do enjoy a challenge ! It took me longer to paint this than some of my big canvases. I should keep practicing 'delicate'- I'm sure you'll get there...in most cases it's letting the waterclour do the work for you and not overpainting.

Very good work. I like.

Thanks Anthony.

Pure watercolor on Aqua gesso primed board. The inspiration for this work came from a photo I took in a Tango bar in Montevideo. I simplified the subject to concentrate on the 2 figures and to get the atmosphere of the lighting etc.
