Very brave of your mum and dad to let you go public with this! a bit like those shoppers in Tesco wearing their pyjams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I love it, they looked so relaxed. Thanks I always look forward to your paintings.

Marvellous! I especially like their hands in the foreground. Such a lot of work with all the pattern, fabulous!

Hi, Vincent, Honestly, and against your opinion, which I could read in the Artist's magazine, I see your painting better than the Freud. And I talk like this once you have assumed it as your inspirational kind of painting, from which we can see real influences, more in termes of composition, than about strokes, which I do not like in the Freud's painting; I feel it inelegant. While many people find Freud thematically awful, I feel the same... but technically —I could see his painting, twwo years ago, in the Art Modern Museum, in Dablin, during a Freud's specific exhibition, and and ended disappointed, although I know to have there a difference between to see the original and to see its "portrait". So, after Dublin, I am sure I only have seen the old Freud's grandson... It is a pity, for you, because you perhaps have not a famous grandfather... Best wishes and best job

your portraits are fantastic, so realistic, love the expression on your dads face

absolutely fantastic ! the whole painting is fabulous but i'm particularly intrigued as to how you get the wallpaper pattern soooo precise. Is it just total patience ?? Love all your work by the way.

Incredible detail as usual. Just beautifully painted.

Despite the 'publicity' your painting has a moving dignity about it. Brilliant!

Like Kate, I feel this is a marvellous portrait and your mum and dad, who are instantly recognisable because of your other wonderful renderings of them but how on earth did you get the shine and dull light reflections of the reflective, washable, textured wallpaper?? Amazing! Absolutely amazing. Jx

superb portrait, and so original, i love this!
