Really like the way you paint Val-Irene. Impressionist with a lovely dreamlike quality.

Yes Val-Irene, I also dislike photographic style work. Great expressive piece with some rather good colours, I do like the green immensely. Would have presented itself better had it been cropped and squared up.

Thank you for your very constructive comments. The idea of this particular painting was to give the feeling of space, as if floating on an island. I also love the feeling of space and sky. Therefore if I had cropped and squared it the feeling of space would be lost. I have concentrated on zooming in on an area and have made a bigger painting of just one portion but that would make a completely different picture - I am sure you would agree. Next time!
