You could of course have painted this with strong lights and darks, powerful contrasts, deeper and lighter tones - but I like it just as it is: it's quiet, reflective, and I can feel the roll and shape of the land.

Hi Peter, thank you for your comment....and your stamina, trawling through three years worth! Lol As I have said in my reply, you need to get out more! Lol I’ve just done the same and looked through your own portfolio, I’m not the only one whose processes, especially application, has changed. This is quite a calm and restful scene, I love that patch of bright green in front of the darker trees. A great sense of scale too.
