Something bleak but very like-able about this

Hi Tony. Thank you. This was done on the beach the day after storm Ophelia. It was still very windy and the painting probably reflects the fact that I was feeling the cold

Peter you can feel and sense the aftermath of Ophelia in the sky and sea......which looks as though it has been churned up to within an inch of its life. It’s bleak, cold and still looks very windy, there is that promise of maybe something better to come in that glint of blue in the sky. You do these scenes wonderfully Peter!

Hi Fiona. Yes the sea was still very mucky. As I was packing up I dropped it on the shingle beach - butter side down - so had to do some quick repairs with the palette knife
