It's got a lot of life in it Peter, the touch of light(or puddle) at the top of the track really lifts it. I like too the soft colour you've used on the distant hill.

Thankyou Marjorie. The grey area at the top of the track is supposed to be the light hitting it and to give it some contrast with the distant hill but Perhaps I over did it. Also the foliage on the nearest conifers should be larger to help with recession. The conifers on the top left are too green.

We are all too self- critical aren't we. All I can see is a good painting.
