Thank you Carole and John. Its my first attempt at a plein air snow painting because we have not had proper snow for a few years.

A beautiful snow scene Peter.

Beautiful and fresh Peter and I love your expressive brush strokes.

Thank you Margaret Hi Fiona thank you and nice to hear from you

Were have you been Peter.....it seems ages since you posted any of your fabulously atmospheric seascapes! Not to mention your brush work....lol. Hope you’ve been well and we will see more from you.

You are very kind Fiona. I have hardly picked up a brush since the spring due to gardening, fishing, painting the house, family etc etc. Also I have had an attack of painters block or it could be sheer laziness. Lately however I have been trying yo get back into it and just for you I will post a little seascape I did in Aberystwyth the day after Ophelia

Lol....I’m relieved that your excuse is just ‘life’ and not something dreadful, although painters block can be quite debilitating...lol. Sounds as though you’ve had a busy summer, I don’t do as much painting when there is the garden to escape to.....my first love. That will be some painting, the aftermath of Ophelia, look forward to seeing it Peter.
