I like your monochrome palette, which enhances the light streaming through the trees Martin.

It's really good and very appealing Martin

A superb piece Martin, the really well drawn dark trees against that lovely background colour is excellent.

This is great, Martin, very appealing

Great atmospheric painting, I like the autumnal light.

Great use of colour, nicely done.

Ha ha, my comment is on your duplicate, Martin!

I didn’t realise I’d uploaded this twice. Both times the site said it had failed. Sorry I removed your kind comments on the other one I’ve deleted Thalia and Marjorie

Thanks Carole Heather Dixie Federico Lynda Stephen Marjorie and Thalia. Appreciate your supportive words

This is really good, a great monochrome.

This is a lovely painting with the light coming through the trees.

Thalia and I are miffed!

Oh dear. I’ll stand on the naughty step for a couple of days 🥴

Thanks Lew and Christine

I agree with all the comments - excellent light and atmosphere Martin.

Like it; as for the problem with uploading, it's a glitch which still gives problems: you upload, or try to, and on the upload page it keeps churning on telling you it's working; but it keeps doing that; just go to the Gallery and ignore the misinformation, it'll nearly always be there.

It's mystical--the trees beautifully done.

Love this, composition and colours. Beautiful.

Thanks John Robert and Lynne. I’ll do that next time I have a problem Robert thanks for the advice

I really like it Martin -it's very good to return to an old painting and find you can make it work.

Thanks Hilary and Maureen

Watercolour based on a sketch from Barrow Hills near Bawtry. Trying to evoke a feeling as much as anything. I started this a few years ago but there was something missing. Added more marks recently and am happier with it now. On Saunders cp 20x 16”
