This is super, a great rendition of misty atmosphere, and the eagle an excellent addition.

You are too kind. I painted this as a rescue for a bit of fun. I’d messed up a wash for another painting and thought it might work for a Misty mountain scene. Many thanks Gala Spencer David Heather Stephen and Lewis. Much appreciated

A terrific painting Martin.

It works really well Martin. The fir tree adds perspective to it.

In some way this feels Japanese to me, maybe because of the “space”….can’t quite put my finger on it but I like looking at it.

What a superb place to be in, definitely the opposite to Lincolnshire. Stand on Tattersall castle and you can almond see Boston Stump.

A lovely feeling of space , like the bird.

Lovely, almost mystical scene, with the hills appearing through the mist. I wonder what poor mouse or other animal the bird has spotted?

I missed this when you first posted it Martin and as a North Lincolnshire girl, I was beginning to wonder how I could have missed these beautiful mountains in all the time I lived there!! 😂 A beautifully painted landscape; well-done. (Perhaps there is a nod to Hubbards Hill's, if you know it! 😉)

You're right Martin, quite a different terrain here. I'm afraid I haven't painted Hubbard's Hills which is just outside Louth. It's a steep-sided valley with the (small) river Lud flowing through it; we loved going there as children and scrambling up and down the hills, probably because such hills were few and far between in flat Lincolnshire! 😀
