I love the title. This whole series of paintings is just beautiful. Not only have you captured the joy of childhood and the warmth of summer but they are technically superb.

Hi Trevor, at first I thought I had seen this before but it another beautifully painted picture but so like "Wave dancing " Were they done from the same photo?

Joy, I have been fortunate to have friends with children who have been happy for them to be my models. This child, a trained ballet dancer, moved with particular grace and vivacity. She features in a few of my works based on sketches and photography. This painting and wave dancer are based on a wonderful day at the beach.
