This is very good too. I particularly like your sky.

Difficult to say which is the better painting. Both have good atmosphere and colour. I like the slightly more predominant foreground in this one. Did you do the painting "en plein air" or from a photo?

your skies are so very excellent and atmospheric :-) i really like all of them in all your paintings :-)

Thanks Rebecca, I really think that the sky is such an important part of a good landscape painting and I always give it a lot of thought before starting.

As previous painting but this one was done on 300lb not pressed paper with an initial outline drawing. To add drama a stronger wash was added to the skyline. Which is the better picture? I'll let you decide.
