Tracey...what dilemma? This first one in particular, is fantastic...If I was to comment on anything I might wonder if the jaw was a bit heavy, but then he is a gun dog with a soft mouth, so perhaps not. I think he's beautiful. I cannot see anything you could improve on....really. If I had done this I would be really pleased with myself. Will look at Guiness 2 now to see what the difference is.....

Thank you for your comments Ruth, everyone i have asked say's the same about the nose on gunniess 2 but i keep trying to fix it and it just keeps looking the same, soooo annoying, i will get it in the end i think full on faces are tricky as the animal can look all nose side on's are much better, i dont like to be beaten.

Now if you'd used this picture with the blue highlights on the other blue paper it would have been perfect. Just one question- are the flews (loose bits of the lower lips) quite as leathery as they appear here or do they have more fur on? The blue makes them look very smooth and hairless and quite thin whereas a dog's lips are usually quite thick , juicy and furry.

I love this. He has a really intense stare and the light on his face is gorgeous.

point taken diana, i only had the photo to go by, so i would think some fur, thank you all for your help, much appreciated. :)
