Excellent oil painting Toulla, the colours and folds in the tablecloths are superb and the lovely interaction between the three women, each one a super portrait in its own right, is beautifully described, as are the other buildings that form the backdrop to this scene

This caught my eye as I like the way you have captured the women having a good old natter! I wonder what the topic of conversation was! Anyway, lovely colours and love the tablecloths. Beautiful detailed painting.

This scene was a bit complicated and the reference photos I had taken in Volterra were quite poor quality. I admit I struggled, but was not to be beaten even if it did take me several months to complete. Painted in Michael Harding oils on fine linen canvas.
