Very difficult to pull off doing a portrait of a black dog, but you have succeeded wonderfully with this one. Great work.

I am not usually keen on 'dog portraits' but this is captivating and SO like my own black dog. You have caught the spirit of this lovely animal so well!

Black labrador commission. Watercolour is probably the hardest medium to master for portraits. A black dog is not so easy to do in watercolour.
