Adapted with much licence from photographs take during early Autumn. I was struck by the bright quality of the shaft of light, contrasting with the darker foliage and heavy tree trunks. Trying to evoke a sense of mystery, what lies beyond? What would it be like to stand in that shaft of light? In acrylic on acrylic paper coated in gesso, using the usual range of implements and brushes.
