Autumn Undergrowth by Anthony Stubbs
An impression of the colours of Autumn close to the ground in woodland at the cusp of winter-time. Most of the leaves have fallen but below is a richness of colour from the dying bracken and other woodland flora. This exists nowhere, just minds-eye impression. In acrylic on watercolour paper and executed comparatively swiftly, i.e. in one session.
