It is glorious Anthony, very good memories!

Lovely forest and shows the dense area with the bracken or how it was experienced , these memories do surface and painting does bring them alive! Nicely painted Anthony!

This a scene not quite so regularly passed theses days, rather distant, requiring a decent hike to get there. But this is an impression adapted from memory, feel and a few photographs. I was taken by the horizontal bands of tone and colour, particularly the mysterious darks of the middle ground below an airy feeling of thin foliage and blue sky above. Its done in acrylic, on paper employing a variety of implements and techniques.
