A July field, given over as a nature reserve, wildflowers proliferate. I was taken by the natural horizontal composition, from the dark green trees at the rear, to the piles of rough cut long grasses and tree branches at the front . It was a warm, dry day. In acrylic, in places applied quite thickly using the usual cast of implements, art specific or repurposed.
