Flooded woodland track by Anthony Stubbs
One of my woodland routes. After the heavy rain came that relatively dry, but cool spell. This image inspired by a scene that greeted me during woodland walk on a sunny day very recently. The track had been flooded right across, for so long that it was covered by a blanket of duckweed. The waters receded to leave a thin green carpet where the water once was. In acrylic on gesso primed watercolour paper. Using various brushes, knives and 'other' implements
