Last year in one of my favourite woodland areas, worker were felling trees and cutting a treeless swathe through the woods. Apparently to do with tree roots interfering with a high pressure gas pipeline beneath. At regular intervals they erected the red topped white poles. depicted here. I was cross at first till I discovered the reason for the carnage. In acrylic on 5mm primed plywood. Using various implements.
