From our art group's Summer 2024 Plein Air sessions. Muckross is a bay on Lower Lough Erne. It's a popular swimming and watersports area in the summer, with a multitude of islands to be navigated and visited. The day we were there was plagued with rain, and fast-moving cloud cover hid and revealed the islands unpredictably from minute to minute. Hugely frustrating, but a good lesson in getting impressions down quickly!
