Hi Michael. Sorry for a delay in replying! If you get the chance to try this art form out then grasp the opportunity. One is never quite sure how each piece will work out although with some careful planning and thought it is possible to develop a picture/painting along a planned route ... sort of!! All these paintings have been done with a craft iron with some additional work from a stylus. Great fun but also proving to have a steep learning curve!! Cheers and thanks.

This is by far, one of my favourite pieces so far. It was weird how it emerged from under the iron and after much paper twirling it became very clear as to what it was. I'm not sure though that I could sit and look at it for long without the help of thermals!! All the encaustic pieces are A5 but I'm now looking to go to A4 and also try out a sealed primed box canvas... If the results are Ok I will post them!!
