Cyprus Landscape by Tim Seabury

Hi, Tim. I like your colours . Whereabouts in Cyprus is it? I had a go trying to capture the Cyprus colours too but I did it on my ipad - I think it is in my ipad portfolio. I will have to try it again in acrylics now you have inspired me.

Hi Sian. The basic landscape is based on that from about 6 miles north of Pafos looking up towards Mount Olympus, although there is some artistic licence in there!! I took a number of basic photos and worked from them. The painting took three part days to do but of course now the problem here is the rapid drying of ANY paint!! I'm glad you like it and that it may inspire you to pick up acrylics again. I am a fairly new convert to them but feel I'm getting to grips with them. This by the way is my largest work yet ... 50x75cm Thank you.
