Glass tile mosaic. This was based on a painting that depicted poppies and Irises in front of a field of sunflowers with a small village in the background. This has been left UNGROUTED as I felt that to grout it would make the work lose some of its detail and texture .... I had experimented with this 'finishing off' before and was not happy with the result. Most of my mosaics are grouted but ... Personal choice of course!!
