Wake up call!

I thought this was a Jean Haine's inspired painting - it leapt off the screen at me. However, I actually like this better than some of Jean Haines work (is that blasphemy?!) because the colours you have got into the tail feathers are more clearly defined that she might have done and I prefer that. The whole painting is wonderful.
