There are two lighthouses on Flamborough Head in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The older one, which was built in 1669 (but never used) and the newer one, built in 1806 and still in use today. Both can be seen from many points on the Headland. This painting presents a view of them from South Landing, on the south side of the Headland.
