This is superb and not just the finished painting but the reason behind it is very moving . You have captured the details perfectly and your son’s expression says everything. It’s full of love that has come through you to show in this fine portrait.

Autism Awareness… I should call this ‘Staying Alive’ as this is what my Son was listening to on repeat. He loves this Bee Gees song. When my Son is happy and content he will happily ‘stim’ all day with strings, cords, his fidget worm, anything he can get his hands on. The wool in the background purely represents that he loves the colour yellow and one of the only textures he feels comfortable in wearing is his beautiful jumpers and tank tops knitted by his Nannies. My happy, gentle boy.
