You’re absolutely right Thalia, if you break the left hand side of the pear it will match with the rest of the painting. Lovely background!

Messing about with still life ideas for future paintings to paint after my Christmas markets. These lemons and a pear I've placed over an old plein air painting of leaves and water. Think it might need shadow on the left of the pear to create a lost and found area??? Comments much appreciated as I don't normally do much still life!
