i painted this small oil from a plein air watercolour, as an experiment to see whether I could make 'sense' of the blocky kind of fast painted picture. I tried to keep the effect, as I rather liked it, but painted it with many layers of glazing, and added my friend's tiny dog, Humphrey for interest!
