Love your capture of the wet day, puddles, brolly and atmosphere here Thalia. Obviously darker than your normal sunny day scenes but you convey the weather so well. I also like that you’ve included the edge of window/door from the gallery you’ve painted from, again gives it that something extra.

This is the busiest most awkward corner on Gozo! Painted from inside Casa Chic Gallery, over three mornings, two of which were pouring rain. The last session was storm/sun/wind, so fast I could barely keep up! Really pleased with the result, as I feel it captures the moment well. I so enjoyed painting it! Every time I'm there I see more plein air opportunities!
