Looks nicely balanced Thalia. If I had to make any criticism, it's the background hills which are a bit fussy and tend to compete with some of the main points of attention. Hope you don't mind me saying! still nice though...

Thanks for that useful comment, Alan, just what a girl needed!!! I'll get my sponge out!!! I was at this spot again this morning, and these two main characters were still moored, It's definitely too fussy, Thank you Seth, Ellen, Linda, Cesare, Tessa [you'd be most welcome!!] Michael and Jim. I painted here again this morning and the new one has seahorses init!! Watch this space!!! lol

I hope you didn't mine Thalia, you are a very talented painter and it's difficult to mention things. This did jump out at me a bit though so I couldn't resist. My stuff is always open to suggestions, and I do get some good advice at times.

Thank you Gudrun. Alan, that's why i post! I actively want criticism! It was very helpful and I want to thank you for your honesty. Hopefully I've saved it by sponging the darker bushes back somewhat and repainting in the masts. What do you think???
