Very different palette for you Thalia. Love the greens. The colours have reproduced more faithfully to the easel version than yesterday’s post.

Beautiful greens and those splashes of red and yellow make for a lovely painting.

Thank you, Seth. Yesterday's easel shot was too much in the shade of the easel itself. I used the left overs as the base for this one adding others in with them. Thank you Ellen, that's very kind of you, the reds are the poppies which are out in profusion at the moment, the yellow is grass seed, caught by the sun light.

I like this. Its quite impressionistic.

I'll agree with the impressionistic Thalia. Nice work.

Indeed I had Monet in mind as I was painting it...Hmmm! Thanks Timothy and Jim, I hope to get as good as the great master...one day!!! Thanks for commenting and for the encouraging remarks

You’ve met the challenge admirably Thalia, certainly mastered those greens.

Nearly missed this Thalia....you may start a lovely garden and the construction of a Japanese bridge!! A nice feel about this. Why do people like him, Chopin,...... ....... ....... and that list goes on, ever have to die?

It might have been more difficult but you have a beautiful result to be proud of.

Thalia, this is gorgeous...

Thank you so very much, Rachel, Margaret, Fiona, Sandra, and, yes, Guy, I would love a Monet type garden playing Chopin!

This has got to be one of the hardest plein airs I've done! The light was changing so fast, so many colours and the sun too hot now after 08.00 if I'm not in the shade! Mustn't grumble, really enjoyed myself! But a very complicated scene!
