I Love this!

Wonderfully textured in such a small space Thalia.

Love the contrast with light and shade, the red and green geraniums,a very pretty place to be.

An undoubted "Thalia" in your own inimitable style. Lovely.

I love all your tiny watercolours Thalia. They are so skillfully executed!

Lovely colour palette Thalia 😀

Good light effect, Thalia.

Absolutely wonderful colours Thalia. The much larger size in the photo really suits it, would make a lovely full sized painting.

Top right corner is my favourite bit of this beautiful painting Thalia.

That looks glorious Thalia, such a lot of detail in a small painting, beautiful!

Lovely little painting Thalia. The colours of the buildings are so warm contrasted with that lovely blue sky makes me want to be there.

Thank you Skylar...you'd love it there! Thank you Carole, really kind of you. Thank you Annick, Glad you like it! Thanks Jim, heavy handed with the paint in places, but think it worked! Thank you Detlev, really sweet of you, I love your work too! Thank you Linda and Cesare, bright sun light and really dark shadows always gets my attention! That's a kind thing to say, Sandra, I may well do a larger painting, Thank you Ibolya, it's actually the underside of a window ledge!!! gone wiggly! Thank you Margaret...your doggie commission is fantastic! So much detail in the hair![not, I guess, fur, eh?]

Thank you, Carole, maybe one day we'll meet there! It's a wonderful old city which used to be the capitol, even had a railway for a short time!

Glorious painting Thalia

I really love to visit the Silent City, I can sit in doorways and sketch and always take too many photos! This is tiny, 5x3ins, painted from sketches and a photo, tried to get the pools of water where someone had over watered the window boxes.
