The Armadillo

Looks great Tessa.

This one caught my attention, you have captured the glow of the light really well

Many thanks Denise and Paul.

What an amazing building. I love the way you painted the glass. Really effective. Do you speak Welsh? My sister married a Welshman and lives in Cardiff.

Good one Tessa

Thank you Diana and Heather. No Diana, I learnt a little in school as born and grew up in Cardiff, and when you live there it’s easy to understand place names etc, but certainly not fluent and had to look up what this meant! It is a very striking building, especially when lit up, and the interior is also excellent.

That looks quite a challenge Tessa, I don’t know the building but it looks quite ( I hate this word but it suits!) awesome.

Lovely, the light through the glass is very effective

Many thanks Katy and Hilary.

The English is on the right, and the Welsh on the left, meaning ‘creating truth like glass from inspiration’s furnace’. This is an A5 gouache for our weekly art group theme which this week is ‘buildings’.
