Excellent use of watercolour. I think the word I'm after is economy. Superb use of hard and soft edges.

While decluttering before a house move (I hope!), I came across this small preliminary watercolour sketch (8" x 6") painted before a bigger picture which I submitted about 18 months ago. I think I prefer this one!
