Beautiful drapes in his robe Tao, he must be proud of this.

You have captured him clothing brilliantly, Tao.

This is a lovely one Tao, love the way your have captured the colours and flowing clothing

How lovely this looks Tao, you have drawn the robes so well and the highlights are great. Well done!

Thank you so much Carole for your lovely comments. whether he would be proud I am not sure, he will just sit back onto the shelf and wait for another polishing

Many thanks for your lovely comments Jennifer

Thank you so much David for your lovely remarks, this is the sort of challenge I do enjoy doing

many thanks for your encouraging comments Margaret

I'm a little confused Tao - are YOUR mates sitting on the shelf with the Buddha?? I love the way you have painted his robe creases. A little bit of a departure from your normal flowers/fauna but very good nevertheless!

I thought is was a wooden Buddha at first Tao not a painting of one, shows how well you've painted it.

Thank you both Adele and Val for your lovely comments This little wooden Buddha is a model which I have now painted and he sits on the shelf next to HIS mates i.e.. more little BUDDHAS. it took me several hours just to get the drawing right, then several washes of watercolours then a few enhancements with a coloured pencils ( I don't have any little mates they all as XL as I am LOL). hope this help with any confusion I might have put forward!!!!!! just to add to the confusion I might do some of the others p/s he told me I had to do this project , now who's confused !!??!!

Nice work Tao.

Thank you so much Jim for your lovely comments

It's ok Tao - just pulling your leg although I did have a lovely vision of all your mates sitting in a row!!

it is so lovely to have you back with your delightful banter if I sat on the shelf I would have to have the builders back to rebuild the wall LOL...
