Death of the Thames Barge

Love this would look nice in our flat over the Isle of wight!!!

The Thames Barge is anything BUT dead, there are still a lot of them around, thank goodness.

Lovely painting. Like the abstract look. Like Bill has mentioned the Thames barge isn't dead I live on an Island very near the Thames Estuary they are still very much alive I see them often just off the island. Majestic they are too.

Thank you for your comments on my Thames Barge. Yes, I do realize they are still sailing, indeed I remember sailing close to them when I sailed with my father, but their time is past, and that is the sadness.

They are very much alive in say Maldon [and other marinas] on the Blackwater estuary, East Anglia. many are undergoing restoration as well. An interesting image of a Thames Trader. I like what I see.
