thank you for looking and kind comments. do tell your friends Pat if they are interested in this sort of sculpture . the one in Durham must be different being cast in bronze, yes i would like to see that one also.

I was in the church of St Mary the Virgin on Holy Island Northumbria last week. And this wonderful sculpture by Fenwick Lawson is in there. It is magnificent. The last journey of St Cuthbert being carried by the monks of Lindisfarne. I had a wonderful hour drawing it.
