Great title and excellent sketch. I think you've caught everything you woudl need to do a full painting; colour, tone, movement and character.

You captured the moment and the movement superbly in this lovely sketch! I could feel the "Flingo's" wings flapping!

A flamingo really, but us ladies on art safari re christened them after one of the grandchildren had done so. This is a one minute sketch of said flingo landing, I just wanted the "moment" detail and finesse out of the window. Ink and pen. Will post some more immediate sketches soon. P S I suppose "Flingo" is very appropriate!!!
