We called them "pittlybeds"in the North East of England and in the right place they're lovely to see - a sign of spring. I understand completely what you're conveying here, a beautiful, colourful and happy day.

Thanks Marjorie. Pittly obviously has the same meaning. Yes a wonderful day. Hopefully there are more days like this to come.

I don't remember seeing this before Sylvia. You do live in a lovely place with views like this!!

So happy and joyful Sylvia! It lifts the spirits just looking at it :)

Wow - nice one Sylvia. I am currently working on some flower paintings which are quite out of my comfort zone - will post one soon.

What happy comments, thank you. Yes I am lucky living here...but there is a lot of up hill

I think you covered this very well in your write up Sylvia....joyous! Full of sun, against a wonderful backdrop.

Very effective. Looks like i t was fun to do too.

So pleased to have found this. I love it for the dandelions and the colours and Wales. I also did an acrylic of dandelions in April last year. From the back of our house on the hottest day. We are just about to complete the Offa 's dyke path through there..

Just looked up my Dandelion Day - how easy is that on pol - and seen in was 2011.

Diolch Sian. Wave to me around Moel Arthur.

I painted this a year ago on a day just like to day... Bursting with life and joyfulness . I love Dandys or Pee in the bed as we called them as kids. This is on a large canvas. It is the Clwydian range from the back of my house. Offas Dyke runs along it. Wonder if old Offa enjoyed Dandilions as well ? I may have posted this in the past on my saly deleted gallery...sorry if I did.
