CHUCKS IN A BOWL.

CHUCKS IN A BOWL.

This just jumped out at me. It is so full of life, possibly, but probably not, like the eggs! What an excellent painting. I shall say nothing about the one(s) who think these are bread rolls!?

Looks fine to me Sylvia, who cares if the elipses are slightly out, it ain't a bit of precision engineering, I don't need the formulae from Machinery's Handbook to check for perfect elipses in a painting. best Mick.

I think your cloth is great and the elipse of the bowl.

I really don't care for perfect paintings you can't tell from photographs, so wonky ellipses don't trouble me. Anyway, not all eggs are perfectly proportioned - depends on how much trouble the hen had when laying them..... 'Im indoors said they were bread rolls, I believe: well, here's a tip: crack one on his head, and ask if he still thinks it's a bread roll. He won't be amused; I can guarantee he won't be amused; there will be a flood of invective, to accompany the yolk, probably in extremely fluent Welsh. On the other hand, you will have made your point.

Robert made laugh aloud! His comments are sometimes so funny. Sylvia, I like your painting too! The bowl is beautiful with a lovely shine and the cloth is very well achieved. The eggs could be a bit smoother but who cares, you had a good time painting and that is all that matters.

What lovely comments for my happy afternoon . As we still might get snowed in Robert I shall hang on to the eggs might need them for an omelette sometime soon.

Love it and Roberts comments are just perfect

Super painting Sylvia :)

Lovely eggs and bowl. Hope that the snow has receded a bit now :)

Looks great, Sylvia. I like the brushwork - spontaneous and unfussy.

Some lovely positive thoughts...thank you. X
