Heh heh - like it! You used an Ampersand board with acrylics - did you get on with it? I had such a struggle with acrylic on Ampersand board that I've never tried it since: worked very well with oil, but I didn't enjoy that particular fight at all... must have painted the damn' thing four times before I got a tolerable result, and even then I wasn't happy with it. Good to see your work on here again, and hope this means life is getting a bit easier for you: or is that wishful thinking?

This was fun to do and it’s good to see you all like it. Sheep and lambs are such lovely subjects to paint I mean they are a bit like woolly sacks. Thank you . Robert I so enjoy both Ampersand and Gerstaeker they are magic. Maybe my acrylics are a bit more fluid than you use. I have to pick up my life and yes routine is established and we are lucky and have good help. Painting is very calming in situations of stress. Yes I know you hate it being “ therapeutic” but it is .

Small acrylic pic 12” x12” on ampersand board. This is the finished piece from a sketch of a pic I took a year or so ago. We have lambs I watch from my kitchen and this was such a lovely pose by mum and lamb. Mind you mum might have been having a bleat about it.
