A lovely painting Sylvia. Like you I am a great collector of beach treasures and living where I do I have to be very selective! These objects are always a great source of inspiration.
Very vibrant against the blue. I love all the different colours. Hope you got sorted with the Forum Sylvia.

A beautiful selection and you have given each one individual attention to make sure you bring out its unique qualities. A lovely work, Sylvia.

I hear the sea lovely work Sylvia

Thank you for happy comments. I did enjoy doing this .Actually your comment Dennis makes a better title. "Do you hear the sea. " Like that.
Its not the forum I am having probs with. I just want to know where all my blogs have gone. It dates back to 2009 and I liked it as a diary. Has anyone else lost all of theirs also?.

Great collection Sylvia! Beautifully painted.

Lovely detail Christine

This is WOW! Nice one Sylvia!

Regarding losing blogs.....I never had any BUT a lot of my gallery paintings have disappeared. Perhaps space is at a premium.

Beautiful assortment of shells and lovely colours. I can understand you collecting them. I had a big collection at one time too and every beach or seaside resort I went to, I just had to collect them. Gave them all away to a hobbyist later on and I didn't do art then, so they were never painted unfortunately.

Sylvia - what medium? Sorry if it's staring me in the face, but I can't find it.... I imagine it's acrylic, but it could also be gouache. Like it, anyway!

As for the blogs - I lost all mine; I don't know if they're reappeared because I can't bring myself to look. Must do so.

Glad you like it Robert. Yes it is Acrylic. I did tick the box but that dosent seem to register. This was a fun one to do. I am now looking a t a pot of Peonies.. mmmmmm

A lovely collection, very well painted Sylvia.

I like the shape you have made with the whole as well as the individual shells against the blue. My shells are all in a pot in the loo! I found this only by doing a search on acrylic so it works that way but it is a pity the medium doesn't come up next to the picture.

I agree Sian it's a pain .I did tick a box asking what medium. But it doesn't seem to work. So I think we shall all have to add the medium in the blurb.

I have a great adoration of shells and stones, pieces of wood , sea glass and small found objects. I am far happier coming back from a holiday with a new stone or shell than a piece of jewellery. I have them all around the house in basketss and bowls. Here are a few of them ..
