Nothing wrong with a good doodle😀

Looks a bit bleak to me, Sylvia. Do you live in Bleak house? But I'm sure that the colours of the moors change so much that there is always inspiration. Those ancient granite walls are so familiar to me in Devon though. Hope you are back in action soon.

It's north Wales Linda , I should have added some sheep. Thanks both you and Paul.

Lovely detail on the stone wall - so hard to make stone look real and not too regimented but you have achieved such an authentic look - well done! A super sketch.

Your pen work, on the hills especially, brings this to life Sylvia. Too nice to be called a doodle.

I love this Sylvia. There is something about wild moors I'm attracted to.

Thank you Thea, Linda, Val and Ellen. As you get older it's lovely to be able to dig into ones minds eye.

Nice work Sylvia, lovely mountains.

Love it Sylvia,

A decidely, delightful doodle ! Wonderful texture, lines and colours - it's all there !

Thank you for lovely comments everyone .

Is that your head I see just the other side of the stone wall, Sylvia? I love this sketch of "sort of where you live." I never want to live anywhere else other than the mountains, they are a strength and a consolation.

You have me looking for my head now Ruth. I'm sure that you like me can draw where you live straight from your memory... actually this is based roughly on up the hill we are just down from Offas Dyke and I can look over to Snowdonia from there. I expect you can see towards me....the Clwydians? Though not sure. Was back in our favourite hospital last week , though I find the trauma and orthodox team a delight ...another month minimum...grrrrrr

Good doodle - l like the pen work !
