Thank you for your lovely observations and comments. Yes my paper and pencil and hopefully paint and brushes will keep me from going stir crazy over the next month or so. I should be counting my blessings and thinking of all the lovely time I now have....but somehow it doesn't work out like that.

My small a5 moleskin sketch book ,crayon and pen. Amazing what can be achieved lying in bed with a broken leg. Yesterday I sat in a chair and looked up my lovely garden. Started this , just finished it .
