Oh lucky you Sylvia, it sounds wonderful, it's been vile here today, very windy, rainy and cold. What I'd give to be sitting on a sunny terrace with a glass of something nice and a bowl of olives! A lovely happy sketch!

What a pleasant way to spend a few hours, I've almost forgotton what sunshine feels like! There is a lovely harmony in your sketch which reflects the sunshine and mediterranean feel. Enjoy the rest of your holiday Sylvia.

i am on holiday in Keffallonia ...possibly for about the tenth visit. One of our favourite places to visit is up in the hills and a lovely old castle. Saying this only makes me realise we actually have never been in the castle. But right next door is a lovely little restaurant with a beautiful terrace full of plants and flowers in pots. So what better way to while away the time than painting them and drinking the local plonk. This is Water colour , Inktense pencils and a bit of pen. In my A3 moleskine sketch book.
