I'm glad you are getting back to art Sylvia and hope things are getting a bit better for you and yours. Some nice colours in this piece, it's funny when looking back at work and then tarting it up sometimes works wonders!

I bet if you dig a little deeper in that cupboard Sylvia there will be a few more gems like this one. You've used the gouach(?) to great effect on the rocks. It's a good start, hope it kick starts more!

Thank you Margaret and Fiona. My concentration is a bit erratic but slowly going along this road helps 🙂

Gouache is so little used these days, I do have some but I expect it's now solid. Anyway, well done for trying to get back into things Sylvia, I always appreciate sketch-book work, I have a selection in the car along with different pens etc., to perhaps capture something that will make a later painting.

It always hard to start again after a long pause, Sylvia. I don't know what has happened to you but send you here my best wishes. Take care x

Thank you Alan and Satu....yes Alan I love my sketchbooks I almost have a library of them .

It works very well Sylvia and nice to see you posting again

Thank you Gudrun and Dermot.

Water colour, gouache and wax crayon ...oh and a bit of pen.
