This looks rather nice for your first attempt with ink Syd. I like the shadow of the tree (out of the picture on the right) and a lovely sky and great trees. All in all it's a beauty!

Oh so well done Syd...I attempted Acrylic ink and got a garish mess. This is lovely, soft and subtle .

This is smashing Syd, doesn't look like ink at all. It has a mellowness (is that a word, probably not) about it...the sky is fabulous.

Thank you Margaret , Sylvia and Fiona. I didnt expect such praise . I treated it like acwatercolour and was very sparing with the inks and lavish with the water Youve made my day girls.

This is lovely, Syd. It doesn't look like Acrylic ink at all. My Acrylic ink paintings are awful....hence they never get posted on the gallery!

thanks for your comment Ellen. I think the secret is to treat it like a watercolour but one you can paint over your mistakes. Just what the doctor ordered and economical in ink I have found !
